Yesterday we kicked off our Teen Camp, Na Hrane!
This is for kids 11-15 yrs old, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm! Yesterday we had as many as 32 kids, which is a great start for the week, and we know that number will grow as the week goes on!
Yesterday we engaged them in games, like a water relay
Parachute games
and seeing how fast they could drink a can of Pepsi through a 3" long straw!
We also started our week long craft of building rockets, which will be launched on Friday. Prizes for the furthest travelled and for the best looking rocket.
We were looking forward to this camp for the opportunities to reconnect with the teens, as well as to build new relationships and to tell the kids about Christ.
