So, our landlady came over today and told us one rather important thing - that we were to leave the flat by the end of this year. To put it into perspective, there were some personal problems between the landlady and her partner, resulting in them splitting up and deciding that they needed to sell the flat. On any other given day this would have been a shock, but since Christina has been back we have both felt that it was time to move to another location anyway - somewhere we can really call home and as Mrs. C says, 'somewhere where I can hang a picture without asking for permission first'. Maybe this 'sense' was God preparing us in some way.
In any case, our decision to buy a home here in Slovakia is another one of those 'progressing with life' decisions. There are some properties available here that look nice, but please pray for us as we step into uncharted waters. Buying a house and all the things that come with it, like the mortgage, maintenance, land rights and so on, is one of the most important, scary and exciting steps of a married couple.
