December 1 is the International Day for the prevention of HIV and AIDS. So, we wanted to do our part too! We joined the Sala and ACET team to do some presentations in the local culture house. We had students from 2 high schools come, totalling about 600 kids. We danced, showed videos and talked about the dangers of AIDS and HIV. We also took some time to talk about the best form of contraception - finding one partner and staying faithful to them. As the kids recognise us and know us, the more open they could be to us later down the line. We're thankful for any opportunity to talk with them!
In the evening was the first Youth Night that both James and I were both able to attend and be a part of. It was great to begin building a relationship with those youth. It was also a lot of fun! We played games and had lots of time to just talk and hang out. Looking forward to the next one! :)
