Halusky, the beautiful noodle which I was pleased to partake of last night as I sat in my kitchen in Slovakia! I arrived yesterday afternoon (Slovak time, too early Canada time) and everything went off without a hitch. I nearly missed one of my connections, but thankfully, due to my speed, agility, and the man with the little car that met me halfway, I made it to my gate on time!
I packed 10 sirloin steaks with me, and they made it through customs, they were still even a little frozen when I got here! So, BBQ is going down on Thurs night! Woo hoo!
Thanks to those of you who were praying for me. Hope those prayers don't stop now that I am over here!
I can't believe you took steaks back to Slovakia with you! You rock!
ReplyDeleteHey Christina!!!
ReplyDeleteI was just trying to send you an email, when my email domain totally messed up and wouldn't show my address book, and since I don't know your address by heart, I decided I'd check out the blog and instead of asking you all the questions, had a quick read through your life. Let me tell you, I had a ball!!!
My personal favourite is "Noone likes you Lord!"
That's how far down I got.
I miss you...
...that's why I wanted to write you.
Like I don't cry in bed thinking of why we can't be together right now, but in the "My buddy Christina is out there" fuzzy feeling... :D
Just realized other people might be reading this, so I just froze... will write more when the addressbook starts working.
Oh, and I wanted to really know how is being back from Canada and how was Canada. You don't reveal too much here, so I want you to give me more.
You still don't have a landline? Or are you on Skype at all?
I'll leave the rest of the comments until then. Love youuuu!
I LOVE HALUŠKY!!!!!
